Happy New Year!

Friday Steve had the day off, so he got to spend the day with P while I worked. Of course, the one day we need her to take a nap....she doesn't. We headed over the Kyle and Maggie's for a small new years get together. They have a little girl Sadie, who is a little younger than Presley but they got along great and were so fun to watch!
Sadie wanted to dance by the fireplace. Presley wanted to be up there with her, but watched Sadie dance. I don't think she liked all of us adults just watching. She stood there with her hands behind her back, smiling.
But Sadie had a great time dancing with all of us watching!

And we found out that our friends Nick and Sarah got engaged shortly before the party! Congrats to them! We are super excited! We were there later than we thought we were going to be but P was being pretty good so we got home about midnight. And we all slept until 10 am on Saturday, it was sooo nice!

We've had a great weekend of cleaning and running errands and trying to get ready for our last week before our cruise. We have to have all of our stuff packed and then we have to get everything for Presley's week organized and ready too. It is going to be a very busy week so hopefully that means it will go fast and Saturday will be here and we'll be headed to warmer weather!

2010 was great year and I know 2011 will be also. Filled with challenges and smiles, we are looking forward to whatever it has in store for us! Happy New Year to everyone and may your resolutions last until at least the end of January! :)
