The Johnston library was having their holiday open house again, so we decided to head up there. Last year Piper just wanted to run around, this year she was MUCH better in walking with us and doing the crafts by herself.
We saw Santa from afar, neither one of them were interested in sitting on his lap or having his picture taken with them. With my two kids I have one picture EVER with Santa and that is when Presley was about 10 months old. Maybe some day.
We went home and the girls jumped on the trampoline (which we moved into the garage for the winter) and played in the garage a little while I got some things ready to go to the neighbors for the Iowa game. We went over there about 6 and the kids went right off and started playing, we ordered pizza and hung out. We kept the kids as busy as possible so that we could watch the game!
The best I could get...Carver with a market in his mouth, Piper doing her 'cheerleading' pose and Collins with her hand in her face?! Goofy kids
Love it!
Presley isn't sure what the kids are doing....Piper is just cheesing away though!
The game didn't end the way we wanted it to but it was a great season for the Hawkeyes that NO ONE could've predicted! Sounds like Steve had a great time, great tickets and the perfect hotel location! Also sounds like Indy was NOT ready for the swarm of hawk fans, running out of beer at bars, 3 hours waits at restaurants, bars turning people away b/c they were just too busy! Crazy! But SO happy that Steve was able to have that experience!
