Day 6 - Spirit Lake

Thursday we got up late, said goodbye to Rod and Diane before they started their roadtrip back to Michigan, had a quick lunch and then headed to Arnold's Park to look around and so some shopping, along with getting our annual pictures in the park! 

 The girls at the top of the tipsy house, no thank you, that place makes me motion sick!

 They got a new carousel this year and Piper found the pig, so we had to take a picture with it.

 My kids like fake dogs way more than real dogs!

We didn't hang out long b/c it was hot!!! The girls bought some stuff with the vacation money we gave them and they were happy!
That evening they were hanging out on the swings (still located in the water) and some how a water fight got started. They were all still in their clothes and it was so fun to see them laugh and smile!

Ella and Chloe each took a 9 yr old (blonds vs brunettes) and they did some chicken fighting. Now this is the first time Presley has done this so I wondered how she would like it but the smile never left her face!

 The muscles in her arms are insane (thanks to gymnastics!)

 Then Miss Piper wanted to join, she didn't have a life jacket so she didn't go out very far.

We got them out of the water when the sun went down and got them into showers! Turns out Piper had leeches ALL over her feet! I was the hero and got them all off (yuck), and somehow Presley didn't have any on her!

The lightening was very cool behind the clouds.
