Day 3/Monday

We decided to rent a bike for 4 on Monday afternoon, Presley was less than thrilled b/c she didn't want to wear a helmet....sorry chica, this vacation isn't about looking fancy!....This bike was much harder than it looks. You can rent by the hour and 20 minutes later we were done!

Thankfully there was a playground nearby where they could run off some more energy.
Mary was able to ride with Pa, Samantha and Boston.
We spent more time on our deck talking, listening to music and watching the golfers and deer.
See the golfer in the background!
Two of the houses we rented has fooseball tables.....my dad and Sam are really good!

Presley and Mary did handstands and then pushed themselves up into handstands! The upper body strength they have is awesome!

We always have the Frederick Family Olympics.....two teams, this year we changed it up and did old vs young.....Guess what? I was considered YOUNG! Yeehaw! (NOTE: I was the cut off between the old and young!!....My cousin Lee, didn't make the cut and was the youngest of the older group, which was made up of my parents and all my aunts and uncles!
Bean bags is always a favorite event in the olympics!
and the water balloon toss....the captains get to pick the pairs for the other team (put a good person with a less than 'good' person.....there is a lot of thinking and strategizing in all these events!) and then they pick water balloons for their team....they feel, massage and cup the water balloons (as if they were boobs or something) to see if they are 'good' or not?! (It's a little ridonkulous!)

 The water balloon toss....

Down to 4 teams left....two old and two young (I hope the older group doesn't take offense to me calling them old)
Debbie (old) and Molly (young)

Kelly (old) and Andrew (young)
Roger (old) the last team to get eliminated and Chris (young)....the winners!!!! Go young team!
Then the egg race...the rules were a little sketchy on this game and not strickly enforced.

The old team won on a technicality....but they did get the win!
There was more gaming but these were not part of the olympics!
Daddy and Steve (both sporting Iowa shirts!)
Uncle Dave and cousin Andrew
Tyler and my uncle Danny playing shuffleboard
The kids loved my cousin Chris lights (there is some fancy word for them but I'm not fancy so I'm not sure what they are called) but they had a blast learning to twirl and swing them around!
Piper and daddy looking up at the stars, the perfect nights!

Another great night, great weather, great family, great fun!
