I'll go ahead and apologize for the day by day recap and photo dumps that you are going to endure over the next 2 weeks as I get these posts uploaded! Welcome to our vacation!
Saturday morning we got packed and ready...cousin Ava was dropped off at our house so that she could join us since her parents weren't coming until Tuesday night and we knew that Presley would love having her there! And she would also act as a barrier between her and Piper fighting ALL the time.
The first 20 minutes of our drive and I wanted to strangle my children. We think Presley was trying to act 'cool' and she was just being a bratty brat. Is that mean to say about your child? Well, honestly I could say worse, so get over it. Eventually they settled down and Piper napped....yes, she napped....meaning she actually fell asleep!! We got there about 2:30, unpacked and the girls made themselves at home by changing into their swimsuits and getting in the water!

Sunday we woke up to a thunderstorm...it was chilly and rained off and on until about noon. They girls were awesome about sleeping in so once we headed out it was close to noon. We got lunch and met up with our neighbors Matt and Kari and their girls Brynn and Bara who were visiting their parents. They have a nice house on the lake and a great boat that we were hoping to take out but it was too windy and wavey to take it out...oh well, it was still nice to visit with them!
