Sunday

Sunday we decided to take advantage of our Adventureland season passes, we got up, got ready and headed out there about 11 am. This is the 2nd time we have gone over Memorial Day weekend in the last 4 years and again, we had a great experience! It's NOT busy! You would think a holiday weekend at the beginning of summer would bring people out, but NOPE! It was perfect!
Piper loves the camera some days....this was one of them!
I hate the teacups....worst ride ever.
Presley and I on the Falling Star (one of the 3 rides that I rode)
Another spinny ride that I can't do anymore.
After this we ate lunch. At noon. With NO lines. Then we had an accident and Piper fell down and got hurt....a tiny scrape on her ankle and she could no longer walk. She couldn't straighten her leg and she literally didn't walk again for close to 4 hours! After she cried and cried, she calmed down enough to ride on the little boats and she even got the purple boat! Big win for a little girl!
Presley was awesome and rode the baby rides with her sister, even though they were very boring for her she was nice enough to tag-a-long.
While Steve and Presley rode the tilt-a-whirl (another favorite of mine that my body will no longer let me enjoy), Piper did the little boats by herself this time.
We played some skee-ball and won all sorts of cheap stuffed animals that the kids love!
Then we headed to the waterpark! Presley did great, still not a great swimmer but she was really enjoying trying! :) Piper sat on the side of the pool (she didn't want to get her scrape wet) and she never got in the water or played in the splash pad area (maybe next time!)
My girls!
Presley had so much fun on the waterslides. Over and over again! By herself, with no worries....except making sure we were watching her! :)
She played in the splash pad area with the little kids, such an imagination to keep herself occupied since Piper was 'injured'.
After a couple hours at the waterpark we headed back out for some more rides....there were still no lines...at 4 pm, still awesome!
Piper and Presley rode this ride, Presley hid from me and then the miracle happened.....
......Piper got off the ride and was able to WALK! FINALLY! She said 'Mom! Looks I can walk!', she was amazed and we were just happy the drama was over!

That smile!
The spot where the original injury happened...outside the trucks, she didn't hold a grudge though.
and they rode it twice...b/c there was no line!

Again, Presley was tired of me taking pictures.
It was getting to be about time to go, we knew we had limited time before meltdowns occurred. We made our way out of the park and did the ferris wheel together.
She insists on having her arm around us like this...love it!
and then Presley and I rode the Galleon
and after one more ride on the merry go round and decided to pass up the train ride this time, we headed home right about 7 pm (8 hours at Adventureland for two little girls!). We were all exhausted and both girls were SO good all day long. I hope we can do this more often with the same outcome!
