Update

Presley was so sad to go back to school last Tuesday after the holiday break! She really did have a good time off and she just wasn't have it. Crying, whining that she didn't want to go to school, then she complained that her head hurt but she didn't have a fever and wouldn't take Tylenol, so obviously it didn't hurt that bad! :) However, she did get home from school that day and started to throw up. So she must have got my sickness. Poor thing. She is a trooper though and just laid in our bed and watched TV and slept most of the evening and night. Steve stayed home with her Wednesday morning and then I left work about 11 to go home and be with Presley so that he could go to work....and by the time I got home, he was throwing up too! AHHHHH......
She was pretty much 100% better so she just played and I worked and we shuffled Steve off to the bedroom to stay away from us!

That night Presley decided that she finally was going to change earrings....she had them pierced right after she turned 5 (so almost 3 years ago) and has never changed her earrings from the original ones! Out of no where she agreed to let me do it and it was MUCH easier than she had anticipated, so now she is all excited to change her earrings! :)

Saturday we took a family trip to Target! Rarely do all 4 of us go, but us girls were going to get pedicures afterwards and I wanted Steve to be there to take Piper after she was done b/c I knew she wouldn't be able to sit there thru 45 minutes with me and Presley.....we couldn't even get Piper into the chair, she refused to get one done. So Piper and Steve went next door to The Chicken Coop to hang out and wait for us and then we all ate lunch there! So it worked out perfectly!

That afternoon we dropped the kids off at my mom's house for the night and then headed to Creston. The 1997 boys state basketball champions were being recognized (Hard to imagine this was 20 years ago). So many people came back for it and it was just awesome to see everyone and be there with our friends who were recognized during halftime of the Creston boy basketball game!

We left the after the speech/award and met our friends Nick and Sarah for dinner. It was nice to just be able to sit down with them and talk b/c it has been FOREVER since we have been able to do that!
After dinner (and after the game) everyone headed up to The Lobby bar to hang out and chat. It was so nice to see so many people gather together for this. They did get a group picture but this was later in the night after many had left!
We finally got to bed about 1:30 and were able to sleep in until 9:15! It was awesome. We got up, grabbed some breakfast and headed to his dad's house to see Jerry and Kathy for a bit! I haven't been to Creston in years so it was nice to go back and have some time to talk with them with no other distractions! Then we headed home to pick up our girlies.

That afternoon the Packers played so we got ready and headed to Holly and Jerry's house for the game!
I convinced her to get her Packer gear on!! Finally!! So adorable with her missing teeth!

The first half of the game was ROUGH, but they pulled it together the 2nd half and we got the win we wanted.  As usual during the playoffs we do shots of Goldschlager for every score the Packers have and we went thru almost a whole bottle yesterday! (very small shots, no worries!)
