Day Two

We slept in until almost 9, got up and ready to head to the pool! Right off the bat we met people from Altoona, who both work for the same company I do and we knew alot of the same people. Small world for sure!!! They had two little boys who were 8 (Quinn) and 20 months (Benny).

I just happened to get Presley sitting between their boy Quinn and another boy who sat down by her! HA!
This girl was a swimming machine! It was amazing to watch her and see how comfortable she is in the water now! The majority of this pool was too deep for her to touch but that is where she wanted to swim the most.
Steve, of course met some other people from Clive, who had a 10 year old daughter there (again, very small world) and talked to them for a long time before he decided to enter 'The Crazy Game', kinda similar to beer pong....bouncing ping pong balls off the table twice into the yellow bucket.
He ended up in a three-way tie for 1st place and then came in 2nd in the playoff. Woohoo!

While the girls still did have their moments of fighting, we just tried to separate them for a little while to let the emotions settle down, so I took Presley for a walk on the beach this day. The wind was so strong they had the red flags out and did not recommend swimming, which was fine with me, less for me to worry about! :)

and back to the pool for more fun!

She said she was tired.....after sleeping until 9. She did end up cuddling up on a beach chair for a while that day, but still no naps.
Presley enjoyed more ice cream!

They did another game/challenge for the men, which was probably not 100% appropriate for my 8 year old to watch......
There was chugging a beer, or whatever else the guys decided to do with their beer (for example, pour it down their shorts?). Surf to this side of the pool, do model poses along the swim up bar....

do a Tarzan yell......
Dance around this girl pouring water on them....and it was not innocent dancing by any means.
and we headed back over to the little kids pool once the sun started to go down!

We headed back to the room to get cleaned up for dinner. We didn't have a resort view of the ocean, but we did have a great view and were able to watch the sunset every night!

We tried every day to get them to have some quiet time in hopes for a couple naps and it never worked.

This was another early night for us. The girls didn't have much luck finding things they wanted to eat at the buffet, so we went to another buffet restaurant and still no luck, so we went back to the room about 8 and got them room service! Steve and I hung out on the deck, drinking our beers while the girls settled down to watch a movie while waiting for the food. Night 2 was a success also!
