Our Piper didn't want Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty or a princess party...she wanted a pig party! Not Peppa Pig, but just pigs. Done! We went all out and made it the most piggy party we could! Her soccer game got cancelled for the morning (thank you!!), Steve got up early after the concert to start smoking meat and we spent the day cleaning and getting ready for the party!
I got crafty (thank you pinterest) and we made some pigs to hang from the ceiling.
The perfect pig balloon!
I hung up pictures of her with pigs from the fair and Adventureland (don't mind the pumpkins)
Steve smoked pulled pork and brisket, we made pigs in a blanet, corn dip, mac and cheese and 3 different types of bacon (regular, jalapeno and candied!)
Our neighbor Sarah had her baby almost 3 weeks ago and we are such bad neighbors that we hadn't made it over to see them yet! I felt so bad but we have been busy and they have been sick so we finally got to meet baby Cohen at the party! Piper loved holding him!
We had family and a couple neighbor friends over for the party and she seemed to have alot of fun!
Pig cookies!
Her friend Elaina who used to go to daycare with her, lives in the neighborhood and is on Piper's soccer team! They played SO good together!
She got very nervous when we sang happy birthday and made Presley blow out the candles for her!
I love this picture of Piper looking to Preley for comfort! So often it's the other way around with these two!
Overall we had a great party, lots of family and friends and we were very lucky to have such awesome weather for an October birthday! Happy birthday my sweet girl!
