the rest of the story....

So we decided to all meet at El Bait Shop (a block away from the hotel room that the 3 of us girls booked), we love that place. It's casual, good food, a variety of drinks. We thought about leaving and maybe 'bar hopping' but we were having such a good time there, that we never left!
More of the dork.
Then Sam joined in on the nonsense
I have no idea.
We almost touched tongues!
Susie looking sweet, Sam not so much.
I'm not sure what this door did to deserve this. This was Holly's moment with the door but Sam and this door shared a special moment too.
The night was FILLED with laughs and good times. Stories and so many laughing tears! The perfect girls night and hopefully the perfect bachelorette party for Samantha Kay!

We woke up Sunday morning feeling not so hot. But it was Steve's birthday so I really needed to suck it up and deal with it. I did a lot of laying around but he was able to go fishing with P and do some shopping by himself!
Steve Goodrich's photo.
I was able to make some brownies for Steve, do laundry and dishes and lay on the couch for a long time! :)

Monday we decided to take Presley to a different gymnastics place. The neighbors take their little girl there and we wanted to get P back into something. The original place we took her just had too much down time, she didn't get to do that much b/c of the talking and organizing of the kids, we paid a good price since we knew the owner but just seemed like a waste of time. The new place was MUCH more organized. She got to do alot of different activities, with the teacher and by herself so she can learn. The price is twice as much but we really think she is getting twice as much activity, so we'll try this for a couple months and hopefully she'll like it and we can continue it going forward!

Party!......and this was the first drink.

Getting a serious picture with Holly when she is in one of her f'ing hilarious moods is almost impossible. This was in our hotel room, before we even left for the bar.....there are more pictures to come, however the picture do not do the funniness justice. I cried more this night b/c we laughed SO hard SO many times! It was awesome!
Finally one good picture!

Busy, busy

So Thursday I decided to take the afternoon off to run some errands and do some MUCH needed cleaning around our house to get ready for Samantha's shower on Saturday morning. Then Friday we decided to go out to eat to keep the kids out of the house, in hopes to keep it a little cleaner! :)
Saturday morning we were able to sleep in (thank you Piper for hopefully kicking your early morning habit quickly!), about 8:30 we got up and ready and started getting things ready for the shower at 11.
I decided to keep both Presley and Piper with me at the shower while Steve had a couple hours to himself to do whatever he wanted (and the brat went to my favorite mexican restaurant without me!)
Our favorite cookies from Confections by Kelly!
Piper contributed to purple theme with her purple dress! :)
Holly looking almost as cute as baby Cyrus!
Opening presents
Our friend April and her daugher Bailey, it was so good to see them!
Samantha's soon-to-be sister in law Kim....we love Kim!
We had a good turn out and a good time at the shower. We all ate too much and had too much food left over. Afterwards, Piper took a nap and Presley played with the neighbors and I cleaned and got ready for the bachelorette party that night!

Family pictures!

So after missing Piper's 2 year pictures and then Presley's 6 year pictures...I finally scheduled pictures with our friend, Taunie who takes pictures for Profound Photography. We have known her for a couple years thru our previous gymnastics place and she was SO good with Presley that I knew she would be great with the kids so we booked her! And I was more than happy with her and will most definitely use her again!
Piper was hard to get to sit still and take any sort of serious picture. She was too active and silly but the pictures totally sum up our goofy girl!
Presley on the otherhand, was comfortable and in one of her 'model' moods. She did great and there are SO many good pictures of her!
LOVE!!!!
Oh Piper! So funny!
Melts my heart!!
The girl was happy stomping in a puddle of water!
Thank you Taunie! Amazing job!

Easter! Photo Dump #2

Presley checking out her Easter basket filled with the movie Annie and the game Skip-bo...she LOVES both!

Piper was distracted by chocolate. She LOVED the candy!
At grandma and grandpa's the Moellercoaster was brought back for more fun!
The egg hunt was a great time. So many eggs for all the kids to find, it was so fun to watch them!
And as always 4-square was played to burn some calories from eating too much food!

1st photo dump

Well I was able to get a couple pics downloaded before Kodak decided to poop out on me again! Man, I have about 200 pictures from April and this is just the beginning!
An hour at the park a couple weeks ago....she has no fear.
She is a little more safe.....at least for now.
Egg dying....this shirt got thrown in the garbage after she spilled blue dye all over it! She was very excited to help though!

Catch up

Where have I been for the last week? Heck, I don't even remember what we've been doing! (and I'm having computer problems with my pictures!) Last Thursday I had my monthly work outing and then Friday Steve went out with some guys. Friday marked the two week date for us NOT having someone at the doctors office!

But then Saturday Piper started coughing. I took a nice long shopping trip, to get some errands done, Steve ran some errands but I don't even know what (my brain is too full of a million other things right now!) We dyed easter eggs (pics to come) and of course Piper spilled a cup of the dye all over....so a similar experience to last year. Oh well.

At bedtime Piper had a 101 fever and ending up sleeping in our bed. It was rough night. What is really ironic is that she was sick last Easter too!
Sunday morning we woke up and did the Easter bunny thing (pics to come). Presley was VERY into it and Piper was grouchy but was happy if eating chocolate!
We got ready and headed over to my parents for our family gathering. The weather was PERFECT! We sat outside and talked, the kids played, Piper napped and once everyone got there they hid eggs for the kids to find. It was really nice! (pics to come)
This was also my first day to check Facebook after giving it up for Lent, and honestly in the last 3 days I don't think I've been on for more than 15 minutes total....I'm just not that interested. Seems like the same things are posted now, that were 6 weeks ago. Whatever.

Piper again had a crappy night of sleep so Monday morning Steve took her in to the walk-in clinic...and there was nothing wrong but an upper respiratory virus that we can't do anything about. Awesome. So Piper went to mom's for daycare Monday and Tuesday (Thanks again mom!).
Tuesday night we had a school meeting, they are changing all the computer programs for registering, paying and all the crap and since this is our first summer with the KTC care we decided we better go! Mom came over and watched the girls while we attended the meeting and then of course, got a quick bite to eat afterwards!
We are just getting ready for a busy weekend and week ahead, we having Samantha's bridal shower here Saturday morning and have the bachlorette party that night! Woohoo!

Expect a photo dump soon, once I figure out what is wrong.
